Cai Zhen Yeh or the Prosperity God made a special appearance at Balai Rakyat Tanjong Bunga to usher in the Chinese New Year on 6 March 2015.

YB Teh Yee Cheu with Councillor Chris Lee and YB Zairil's family. About 200 people attended the Chinese New Year celebration and were treated to a buffet. The crowd were entertained by performances by students of Orkestra Tanjong Bunga. The students played the violin, flute, keyboard and sang some songs. A Chinese Orchestra also performed for the audience and some children sang and danced as well.
