EGYPT EVACUATION : PETRONAS CHIPS IN
PETRONAS is contributing RM2 million to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) to assist the Air Force in its operation to evacuate Malaysians from Egypt.
The contribution follows the recent calls by the Government for cooperation between the public and the private sectors to work together in bringing all Malaysians safely home to their families.
PETRONAS is pleased to be alongside RMAF and other Malaysian companies – including AirAsia Bhd and Malaysia Airlines Bhd – in these noble efforts.
On its own, PETRONAS has safely evacuated its employees and their family members from Egypt and is closely monitoring the situation.
