ENHANCED VISIT EXPERIENCE AT THE PETRONAS TWIN TOWERSStarting from 1 October 2010, the PETRONAS Twin Towers will offer new visit packages to give members of the public enhanced and more exciting experience when they tour Malaysia’s most famous landmark.
The new packages, to be introduced in addition to the existing Skybridge tour on Level 41, will include a visit to an observation deck on a top floor of Tower 2 and a meal at the Malaysian Petroleum Club (MPC) within Tower 2 of the buildings.
The fees for the visit packages will start from as low as RM3 per person for the basic Skybridge tour, to RM350 per person for the premium package that will include a fine dining experience at the exclusive, members-only MPC, almost half-way up the world’s tallest twin towers.
The visit packages are introduced in support of the Government’s aspiration to realise the tourism potential of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and the attractions within their vicinity -- the Suria KLCC Shopping Complex, the KLCC Park,
PETROSAINS, Galeri PETRONAS, Aquaria and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra/Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS – which would help position the towers as a premier tourism attraction enjoyed by other iconic buildings around the world.
In the near future, other plans will be undertaken to further enhance the tour experience of the buildings, including extending the visit operation hours, providing a more spacious viewing deck, enhancing the Visitor Centre and ticketing facilities, as well as providing other related visitor amenities.
