    High-Performance Industrial Extreme Pressure Gear Oils
    PETRONAS Gear MEP are high performance extreme pressure (EP) industrial gear oils specially formulated for the lubrication of industrial gears subjected to severe loads and shock loading services.
    It is formulated from specially selected premium quality base oils for their oxidation stability and water separating characteristics, and further fortified with a selected sulphurphosphorous additive system to provide outstanding extreme pressure and wear protection, enhanced oxidation stability and resistance to rusting and foaming. It is available in ISO 32 through ISO 680* viscosity grades.
     
    APPLICATIONS Recommended for the lubrication of:
    • All types of enclosed gears with circulation or splash lubrication systems especially where the operating conditions involve heavy loads, high speed and high relative sliding velocities.
    • Industrial type reduction gearboxes on mining equipment, cement mills, ball and rolling mills, crushers, conveyors, kilns, winches, machine tools and marine equipment.
    • Coupling, spindles and plain bearings.
