17 Oct - This morning at 8am, scouts from the Asia South District Troop 222 gathered behind Medan Tanjong Bunga to cleanup the beach area. YB Teh Yee Cheu's office and JKKK Taman Seri Setia coordinated with MBPP for the gotong-royong activity. Five schools were involved in this event including Penang Chinese Girls High School, Penang Free School, Heng Ee, St. Georges Girl's School and IPG. 

The beach cleanup activity was part of their JOTA-JOTI (Jamboree-On-The-Air, Jamboree-On-The-Internet) programme held at Dalat International School over the weekend.
