A Cultural Evening is a monthly concert organised by YB Teh Yee Cheu and JKKK Jalan Gajah to provide a platform for youngsters to perform. Performers from Okestra Tanjong Bunga and the Tanjong Bunga Chinese Orchestra will regularly perform during these monthly concerts which will be held on the first Saturday of each month.

The October concert saw a talented pool of children who sang, danced and played musical instruments like the piano, violin, ukelele and the recorder. Ong Chong Khai, a 16 year-old autistic boy performed two violin pieces - A Thousand Years and Say Goodbye. Ooi Ee Shen, 10, played the keyboard and sang the 'Fight Song'. Sylvia Teh, 14 years old, sang 'Part of Your World'. There were also first time performers - sisters Chua Hui Yuan and Chua Xin Tong. Xin Tong is only 6 years old.
