50 Penang artists have come together to do a good cause after they have heard about Women’s Welfare Council. The art exhibition comprises of 80 artworks will start showcasing from 1 October to 15 October 2018. The artworks are created by both the famous artists and newcomers, each artwork is priced RM1000 and below, to promote that everyone can afford a genuine artist’s painting. At the same time, this charity art exhibition aims to raise fund for the Women’s Welfare Council. 50% of the sale of the paintings is donated to Women’s Welfare Council.

檳城50 名畫家將於2018 年10 月1 日至10 月15 日在檳城表演藝術中心展出近80 幅畫作，並將賣出作品的一半款項捐給檳城婦女福利會。本次展出的畫作有油畫、水彩、水墨畫等，價格皆為一千令吉以下，讓有心人可以擁有畫家的真跡。檳城婦女福利會位於喬治市Lebuhraya Babington，主要幫助受到家暴或不幸的少女，給於她們臨時住所與輔導，讓她們重新站起來。該會也成立安親班讓低收入家長把孩子送到這裡，以便父母可以安心上班。除此之外，該會也提供宿舍給前來檳城工作的未婚婦女。此次慈善畫展由名畫家莊愛美博士帶領，希望公眾人士慷慨解囊。開幕嘉賓為濱城婦女福利會主席拿督斯里邱吉壽，開幕日期為2018 年10 月7 日(星期日)下午3.00 時。入場免費。

50 orang pelukis Penang akan mempamerkan hampir 80 buah lukisan di penangpac. Mereka juga akan menyumbangkan separuh daripada hasil jualan mereka  kepada Penang Women’s Welfare Council. Harga lukisan-lukisan ini ditetapkan di bawah harga RM1000, supaya orang ramai juga mampu memiliki lukisan asal artis tersebut.
