SYNOPSIS
[ENGLISH] SHORT+SWEET is a most accessible arts festival with the goal of encouraging more locals to avail themselves of the wonderful world of performing arts, while at the same time cultivating more talent for the industry. Participants just need to prepare a not-more-than-10 minute proposal and once selected by the professionals of this industry, they will have the chance to experience a real stage performance, show their talent, challenge and improve themselves through the competition. SHORT+SWEET is a ‘performing arts festival of the people’, that is why, aside from the awards being chosen by a group of judges formed by professionals from different fields, the audiences also have the chance to vote for their No. 1, which is ‘the Audience Choice Award’. This August, let's support our local talent in SHORT+SWEET MALAYSIA in Penang. This ‘performing arts festival of the people’ will not succeed without the presence of you ‘ the people’! [中文] 精彩＋分是一個非常低門檻的全民表演藝術節，重點在於鼓勵更多本地人涉略表演藝術，並從中培育更多的本地表演藝術工作者。參賽者只需準備不超過十分鐘的作品或表演，通過表演專業人士的評選，就可以體驗登上正式的表演舞台，讓更多人看見他們的天份，並且從競賽中挑戰與提昇自我。為了強調精彩＋分的“全民性”，除了由各界專業人士評選出來的獎項外，還有觀眾投選獎 (Audience Choice Award) 讓觀眾投下心目中的第一名。這個八月，就讓我們一起到檳城精彩＋分現場來給於本地表演藝術創作人更多的支持與鼓勵，檳城精彩＋分，因為有您而更精彩！
