SUNSET・LOVE LETTERS is a Penang-Taipei double bill drama performance in the memorial of Wong Kuan Yuke, a thespian from Penang who was developing his career in Taipei passed away in early 2015.

《惜陽》 她，以為再也無法為日落感動；而他，卻讓她觸摸到了夕陽的溫暖，重燃生命的希望......他在夕陽的餘輝中與她相遇,那些壓抑的往事、自責與愧疚，慢慢崩塌。在生命耗盡的邊緣，他終於勇敢面對過往，與生命的無常......因為日落，他們相遇;因為日落，他們相惜。“一天只有一次的日落，你錯過了今天的日落，明天、後天，你就不會看到一模一樣的日落。”

《收信快樂》 這是個關於一對朋友的故事。短短兩個小時，帶我們穿越四十年，閱覽兩人之間七十多封親筆信所編織的點點滴滴。他們寫了一輩子的信，從童年到老去，相知而相惜，經過人生的滄海桑田，坦誠面對自我和現實的壓力，無論身在哪裡，對方永遠是一輩子的心靈燈塔。

SYNOPSIS
[ENGLISH] SUNSET(惜陽)was the first script written by Wong Kuan Yuke when he was still in Penang. It will be directed by penangpac’s Director-in-Residence Wong Lay Chin(黃麗珍)。It tells a story of a young man who meets a young girl at the end of his life under a sunset on a beach. They both struggle to live, but they learn from one another and begin to celebrate their lives, enjoying the beauty of sunset and not worrying about night. LOVE LETTERS(收信快樂)is a script adapted from A.R Gurney’s LOVE LETTER by popular Taiwanese thespian – Shan Cheng Ju(單承矩)。It is directed by Huang Wei Hsiang(黃瓘翔)from Lyric’s Studio(人从众集體創作体), a theatre truope that was established by Wong Kuan Yuke. LOVE LETTER is a simple but touching play, leading the audience to understand a friendship between 2 people through more than 70 letters they have been writing to each other in 40 years.
