    OPERA PUTERI SAADONG

    莎彤公主傳 A Visual Music Opera

    The World’s first groundbreaking Malay contemporary opera in Performing Arts Industry of Malaysia. This is based on the legend of Puteri Saadong from Kelantan who was married to Raja Abdullah and was then captured by the King of Siam, Raja Narai. The drama unfolds from the marriage to the fights in the palaces until the release and return of Puteri Saadong.

     

    《莎彤公主傳》是世界上首個創新的當代馬來歌劇，由吉蘭丹莎彤公主的傳說改編而來，相傳已經許配給拉惹阿都拉的莎彤公主被入侵的暹羅士兵俘虜並獻給當時的暹王納萊，過後公主輾轉回到吉蘭丹之時卻發現當年發誓永不另娶的拉惹阿都拉已經再婚，故事就在當年婚禮的甜蜜、暹羅皇宮的鬥爭與公主返鄉後的心碎之間鋪陳。
