    MOTHERS' DAY EXHIBITION

    母親節畫展

    Art exhibition as a platform for Penang artists to create artworks dedicated to all mothers in conjunction of Mother’s Day celebration 2016. 20 Penang artists will showcase their artworks. This art exhibition will be officiated by YB Dr. Yap Soo Huey at 3pm, 17 Apr (Sunday). 
     
    這是一個讓檳城藝術家以創意來向全天下母親致敬的母親節畫展。約 20 位畫家將展示多幅畫作。YB 葉舒惠博士於 4 月 17 日下午3點正為畫展主持開幕。

                Singapore Dance Theatre’s long-anticipated Ballet Illuminations Malaysia Tour returns with a medley of diverse and exquisite mix of classical and contemporary ballet by award-winning choreographers! A Master Class conducted by Janek Schergen on 23 Apr.

                 

                萬眾期待的新加坡舞蹈劇場一年一度《闡釋芭蕾》馬來西亞巡演即將於今年四月在吉隆坡與檳城兩地展開，一貫為大家帶來由他們獲獎舞編所精心編排的古典與現代芭蕾舞。大師班定於 4 月 23 日舉辦。

                  MAIDEN MEETING 樓臺會

                  Zhu Yingtai, a young woman who disguises herself as a man to study the classics, and her study partner Liang Shanbo, form a close friendship. At the day of their parting, Yingtai suggests betrothing her sister - secretly herself! - to Shanbo. "Maiden Meeting" depicts Shanbo meeting Yingtai in female garb for the first time. 

                   

                  英台與梁山伯十八里相送到長亭。臨別時祝將“九妹”許配給梁,約定梁在乞巧之日到祝家提親。後來梁從師母口中知道祝 乃女子,高興地到祝家去。但此時英台已被父親許配馬太守之子馬文才。梁來了以後,祝父讓英台好生勸慰。於是梁祝二 人在樓臺上相會......
