PWDC, in partnership with Koperasi Ibu Tunggal dan Wanita Seberang Perai Tengah, organised a Dialogue with the women of Permatang Pauh. The purpose of this Dialogue was to share information about present State government programmes relevant to women and the rakyat; facilitate feedback on these; and come up with a local Plan of Action. This Plan highlights the priority issues faced by women and the local community in Permatang Pauh and carries suggested solutions whereby obstacles and challenges in daily lives arising from being a woman can be tackled and overcome.
