About Us

    The Culinary Arts Center was founded in 1990 with the aim in providing training courses in Culinary Arts and Pastry & Bakery.Located in Georgetown, not far from the Ferry Terminal, it welcomes students and professionals from near and far.Registered with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism of Malaysia, hundreds of students have sucessfully graduated in the Culinary Arts program.We would like to welcome you to our various courses and look forward to having you with us at Culinary Arts Center.

    本厨艺中心创立至今已廿年,承蒙各界人士热烈支持及爱护,报名学员日益增加,无疑为烘培及烹饪业造就了无数杰出人才。

    报名学员方面以 form 5 毕业生居多,有来自远方的砂劳越,沙巴,柔佛,怡保等地。每个都学艺有成,学以致用,许多学员都已在各地大酒店服务。也有许多到新加坡酒店及餐馆工作,更有些去到国外工作。

    本中心以少班的教学制度为主,经导师详细讲解之后,则完全由学员们亲自下手操作,然后品尝。 一九九三年期间,槟州政府人力资源培训机构亦派了十位学员到本中心实习烘培及烹饪的课程,为期一年半。本地一间著名学院亦长期派其学生到本中心来接受训练。他们对本中心的信心和信誉可见一斑。多年前更荣获政府委任为“生活技能训练课程(JPK)中心”。

    It was a proud day for Maria Wong of Sarawak when she clinched the Most Promising Future Chef Award in the 13th Anniversary cum graduation dinner held by CAC at Shangri-La hotel in Penang Recently. She is also beat 17 others to win the best trophy project, congratulation to Maria!

    All my life I have the secret desire to be the catering business. I started from the hawker and did the climbing after that. At present, I cater and operate a cafeteria in one of the multinational Industry.

    I wouldn't be worth much at first. A man must prove his worth as he goes along. After graduating from Culinary Arts Centre, I have diversified myoutlets in cafeteria, from Western food to pastry and bakery. Thanks to CAC and to Mr Bruce Lee, Salute You!!
